Creepy Clowns – Vintage Picks of the Week

Halloween is creeping in, so my vintage picks this week are creepy clowns. I do love the wholesome clowns, they make us laugh. I very much love the gentle clowns who create balloon animals or visit the children’s wards at the hospital. Why they are also wonderful jugglers and acrobats. Some of us really are terrified of clowns. That phobia is called coulrophobia. Please don’t read this post if you are such a person.

Wine Decanter Clown

This decanter creeps me out. I believe it is due to the wide open mouth with no teeth or tongue painted on. It once held cherry wine and I imagine if I drank the wine out of this, it might have soured on my previous love of cherries. Wine should make you happy and not sad as he is depicting. He is great for creepy Halloween decor or for the discerning collector and is available at AnaVistaAccents on Etsy for $49.99

Heath The Creepy Clown

MidNightmareDolls brought out the very creepiest face on this reimagined doll. His frightening face contrasts with his sweet little blue-checked romper. You might fall in love with his sad beautiful blue eyes. You may not want to put him in your bedroom because…you know…find him before he creeps away on Etsy priced at $42.50

Winking Clown Original Oil Painting

This winking clown is sweet with green hair and a daisy on the top of their head and seems to be doling out an encouraging smile. But what if they aren’t? This painting can swing to the creepy side if hung in a bathroom or somewhere else, say, a bedroom. And I am certain that they would play very nicely with the other clowns in your home. MOJEART has this listed on Etsy for $91.00.

  1. Thank you so very much for having us! We found that little gem in a partially knocked down shed here in Arizona along with some other cleaning supply bottles. He was a curious find for us…
