Vintage Picks of the Week – A Lemonade Set

A lemonade set is a fun way to serve friends or family a refreshing cool concoction. Consisting of pitcher and set of matching glasses lemonade sets help organize the table letting your guests know that fun is on the agenda. The weather is warming up, flowers are beginning to bloom, Spring is in full swing. Put away the hot cocoa, it’s time for a cool drink.

This week’s vintage picks are brought to you by Pam of Vintage Renude.

Bohemia Turquoise and Gold Lemonade Set

What makes this special: This is definitely not the set you use at the pool.  Break this set out when having a luncheon with friends. It’s both gorgeous and usable. This lemonade set would make a wonderful wedding gift.

Tiffin Jungle Orange Pitcher & Glasses

Why this is a favorite: The bright color grabs the eye and the fun parrots add a tropical flair. The fact that it has a carrier for the glasses makes it portable. The parrots show a bit of wear which is exactly why this set is perfect for the patio. I wouldn’t be afraid of using it as it has clearly been well loved and is still in good shape.

Northwood Opalescent Swirl Lemonade Set

Why I Love This set: This is the cream of the crop. An antique ruffled edge swirled glass lemonade pitcher and glasses from from 1891. Can you imagine the stories this set could tell? Knowing the care that went into keeping this set intact for over 130 years is incredible. Deserving of not only it’s own glass shelf, but it’s own case. What an amazing display set this is.
