Vintage Picks of the Week – Anatomically Correct Valentine’s Day

Vintage Picks Of The Week

It’s time for our series, Vintage Picks of the Week! We scour the internet looking for just the right piece of vintage to add to our decor, and include ideas on how we think these pieces could be used.

The Picks this week are brought to you by Laurie at NextStage Vintage.

Dog heart anatomical model

What I Like About It: It’s unexpected. It’s colorful. It’s something you don’t see often, that’s for sure.

How I Would Use It: I have a fair number of metal and ceramic dogs, I’d nestle it in with those.

What I Like About It: The rich saturated colors. The way the artist skated the line between pure anatomy and illustration.

How I Would Use It: To soften the empty hole in decor after Christmas gets packed up for the year.

What I Like About It: Alright, it’s not vintage, but the workmanship and creativity make it a piece that will be enjoyed for years. Divine.

How I Would Use It: To light the night, probably in the kitchen so it would be at counter height where we could all enjoy it.
