It’s time for our series, Vintage Picks of the Week! We scour the internet looking for just the right piece of vintage to add to our decor, and include ideas on how we think these pieces could be used.
The Picks this week are brought to you by Pam at Vintage Renude.
It’s that time of year again, when we all run ragged shopping for our loved ones. But lets not forget the fun of decorating for the holidays. One of my weaknesses has always been ornaments. Here is a selection of ones to display this year. All vintage of course!
Signed Shultz Red Bakelite Heart and Arrow Brooch
What I Like About It: I love Bakelite, and hearts, and a signed Shultz piece is even better.
How I Would Use It: This would be the perfect compliment to any outfit on Valentines Day.
Ornate Footed Sterling Silver Heart Shaped Dish by Whiting
What I Like About It: What a beautiful and delicate design. I adore the detail and the sweet engraved initials.
How I Would Use It: The perfect candy dish to set out for company. Filled with foil wrapped heart shaped candies.
Vintage Fenton Perfume Bottle
What I Like About It: So many things to love !I love purple, iridescent glass, hand painting, perfume bottles, Fenton Glass, and hearts of course.
How I Would Use It: This beauty would sit on display on a vintage vanity tray right on top of my vintage dresser.
So there you have it! My three favorite vintage picks for the week! Make sure to check back to see what items are on the Pick List next week!
