Vintage Picks of the Week – Christmas Angels

Vintage Picks Of The Week

It’s time for our Vintage Picks of the Week! We scour the internet looking for just the right piece of vintage to add to our decor, and include ideas on how we think these pieces could be used.

The Picks this week are brought to you by Mary Ellen at AuntHattiesAtticVintage. I love the variety, sweetness and even the humor of angels in all of their forms and would like to share a few of my favorites with you. I hope you find the perfect angel for your home this Christmas.

Guardian Angel

What I Like About It: I love the rich colors and gold of this angel’s robe. To have a guardian angel that is both beautiful and strong would be perfect for me.
How I Would Use It: I would place this in a bedroom and ponder its protection before I “lay me down to sleep”.

Angel Sculpture

What I Like About It: This sings to me of modern abstraction and minimalism. I love the contrast of the modern construction of very old carved wooden pieces.
How I Would Use It: Perfect for a modern or minimalist Christmas or for that fact all year round.

Angel Bells

What I Like About It: Candy Canes! Angels! Christmas Holly!  They light up the 5 year old child in me and rekindle the joys of Christmas Past.
How I Would Use It: I would like to hang this to see it every day looking back at me!

So there you have it! My three favorite vintage picks for the week! Make sure to check back to see what items are on the Pick List next week!Hand pointing right | Antique Design Illustrations
