Our favorite finds from the internet this past week.

Dot  (AtticandBarnTreasures.com) – When I think of family time I think of vacations – and fun unusual places to stay. If you enjoy glamping (or want to give it a try) you definitely need to read up on Glamping in a Helicopter! Be sure and take pics for us!

JD (ThirdShiftVintage.com) – Black and white are my most favorite colors. Our home is decorated in black and white, and I love it. We have a few black walls, but I really have been wanting to paint our under-cupboards-above-cabinets in the kitchen black. So far, I haven’t been that daring. But after seeing these photos using black paint, I think I am going to take the plunge. What do you think of black walls?

Laurie (NextStageVintage.com) – The iconic Empire State Building changes the light colors on the top to honor different events. Wondering why it’s a particular color? There’s a calendar for that.

Linda (SelectiveSalvage.com) –  I love vintage Christmas ornaments but old ones in good condition are becoming harder to find. That’s why I was thrilled to read about Wendt & Kuhn, a German company that has been producing wooden figurines & music boxes for over a century. The old-fashioned way, by hand. I am now on the hunt to find a chubby wooden angel to add to my Christmas collection.

Mary Ellen (AuntHattiesAtticVintage.com) –  Get out your knitting needles or crochet hook for a very sweet project! Little Hats, Big Hearts

Pam (VintageRenude.com) –  I’m not normally one who takes political action. But this crosses all parties and affects us all. Please make your voice heard if you care. https://www.battleforthenet.com

Tina (GirlPickers.com) –  Strolling down the aisles of Facebook one day I stumbled on this article of how globes were made right about the time I was born….give or take a year.
