Our favorite finds from the internet this past week.
Dot (AtticAndBarnTreasures.com) – We all get busy and forget to plan our next meal. When that happens to you list ingredients you have on hand on this website and get a list of recipes matching your ingredients. It’s simple, it’s easy, it’s fun!
JayDee (ThirdShiftVintage.com) – Well how cool is this!?!? The website called Crossing helps you locate a place in the United States where your name and someone else’s name are street signs at a crossing! Just type in two names and find out where in the US those roads intersect. My name is not very common, but even I found several roads with my name! None of them cross with my husbands name, or anyone else I know, but it was still cool to see streets with my name. Give it a try!
Laurie (NextStageVintage.com) – Two things about rubber ducks. First, if you have a body of water and a few hundred rubber ducks, you can have yourself one rubber duck dandy fundraiser, the rubber duckie race. And second, the giant inflatable rubber duck that’s been floating it’s way into harbors worldwide isn’t just one duck, it’s two. And the artist who created the original duckzilla is not amused. Will legal duck hijinks ensue!
Linda (SelectiveSalvage.com) – On the list of cars we’ve owned and loved, our 1969 VolksWagon bus ranks towards the top. Yes, it was slow, had no air conditioning and undoubtedly wasn’t safe, but it was a classic! Imagine how thrilled we were to learn VW is planning to bring back the bus as an electric car this time around.
Mary Ellen (AuntHattiesAtticVintage.com) – We cat lovers all believe our cats are the smartest, the sweetest, the funniest etc . These cats are pretty cool, too.
Tina (GirlPickers.com) – Well here we are again coming up on the annual World’s Longest Yard Sale. I won’t make it there again this year but it’s on my bucket list.
