Our favorite finds from the internet this past week.
Dot (AtticAndBarnTreasures.com) – I have always been fascinated by Amelia Earhart! This newest development may just be the most interesting (and believable) evidence yet! Mark your calendar for Sunday, July 9th at 9 p.m. EST and tune into the History Channel.
JayDee (ThirdShiftVintage.com) – Minnesota is going to have it’s own cabin makeover show! Two Minnesota brothers will star in a new DIY Network show for renovating lake homes. Click this link to read their interview. This should be a great show!
Laurie (NextStageVintage.com) – Like most places, New England has a plentiful stock of small worthy museums. The Norman Rockwell Museum in his hometown of Stockbridge, MA has an intriguing exhibition this summer: Inventing America: Rockwell and Warhol . This cool juxtaposition of the small town artist and Manhattan gadfly is doubly appropriate since the Berkshire region is a destination for New Yorkers looking for a country vacation.
Linda (SelectiveSalvage.com) – I can’t carry a tune but I have been a huge fan of music my entire life. Now that I have learned listening to music is actually good for your health, it’s the perfect excuse to crank up the volume and dance like there’s nobody watching.
Mary Ellen (AuntHattiesAtticVintage.com) – I grew up in Gardner Massachusetts, aka Chair City. We had a large Hitchcock Style chair on our old town center and we kids would happily climb and sit on the seat for tourist’s cameras. Now I see How the U.S. Lost the Title for the World’s Largest Chair . So unfair!
Pam (VintageRenude.com) – I follow several photographers on Instagram. Dylan Schwartz is one of my favorites. Check out this amazing time lapse of the Fourth of July fireworks across the City of Los Angeles he created.
Tina (GirlPickers.com) – Do you enjoy photography? Do you like animals? Yes, I do too and I came across this video that was the best 2 minutes I spent today NOT working.
