It’s time for our series, Vintage Picks of the Week! We scour the internet looking for just the right piece of vintage to add to our decor, and include ideas on how we think these pieces could be used.
The Picks this week are brought to you by Tina at GirlPickers.
What I Like About It: I love the design of this and while most of it is this gorgeous cast iron, I think the brass pans are the shining glory of this piece.
How I Would Use It: I would have this on the kitchen counter with bananas on one side and apples on the other side. Instant decor that would change with the fruit of the week!
Antique Sleigh Bells
What I Like About It: The sound. I just love the sound of sleigh bells. I can just imagine it’s winter, the snow is falling lightly, and I am in a horse drawn sleigh headed to family’s house for Sunday dinner.
How I Would Use It: While I would probably use a shorter version, I would love to hear these bells every time I come in my back door.
What I Like About It: I like the intricate detail on these bookends and the fact they are eagles. Brass is heavy so these would hold the larger books in place.
How I Would Use It: I would used these on my bookshelf for books of course!
So there you have it! My three favorite vintage picks for the week! Make sure to check back to see what items are on the Pick List next week!
