Vintage Picks of the Week ~ Flowers for Spring!

Vintage Picks Of The Week

It’s time for our series, Vintage Picks of the Week! We scour the internet looking for just the right piece of vintage to add to our decor, and include ideas on how we think these pieces could be used.

The Picks this week are brought to you by Dot at Attic and Barn Treasures.

I adore flowers! It matters not to me if they are indoors in a planter or on the fabric of my curtains and pillow or outside in my garden! I hope you enjoy this weeks picks and I certainly hope you visit these fine shops. Happy Spring!

Antique Floral Stained Glass

What I Like About It: So many things you could do with this! A perfect example of the craftsman ship from days gone by. We love the colors and detail!

How I Would Use It: I imagine this piece hung in a high interior doorway in a room with plenty of light or on a wall with up lighting. Wouldn’t that be simply gorgeous!

Metal Flower Cart

What I Like About It: We can use this anywhere! And it already has the glass insert!

How I Would Use It:  This would be adorable on your front porch or in your living room as an accent piece. I would probably designate it to my porch and fill it with lovely yellow blooms!

Floral Lightswitch Cover

What I Like About It: This is a rare breed and very hard to find! Painted metal lightswitch plates and covers are a thing of the past – and that is simply a shame!

How I Would Use It: Lovely for a girls room or bedroom or if you are lucky enough to have one – perfect for your garden room. I think this would live in my (sorry hubby dear!) master bath along with the rest of the floral and butterfly accents.

So there you have it! My three favorite vintage picks for the week! Make sure to check back to see what items are on the Pick List next week!Hand pointing right | Antique Design Illustrations

  1. Dot, my mom had that same switch plate cover on the wall in her bedroom for as long as I can remember. My daughter has it now. Since we didn’t want to leave it in the house when we rented it out. It brings back wonderful memories. Thanks!
