Vintage Picks of the Week ~ It’s Easy Being Green

Vintage Picks Of The Week

It’s time for our series, Vintage Picks of the Week! We scour the internet looking for just the right piece of vintage to add to our decor, and include ideas on how we think these pieces could be used.

The Picks this week are brought to you by Dot at Attic and Barn Treasures.

Vintage Green Ceramic Frog Planter

What I Like About It: What could be more appropriate than a frog planter in your garden? So many ways this could be used in your decor – indoor or out!

How I Would Use It: I think this little fellow would look adorable perched on a bench or chair on your front porch. Perfect to hold a succulent!

Vintage Wine Bottle Set

What I Like About It: Not just one but two vintage wine bottles with so many ways to re-use and re-purpose. Reusing containers like vintage bottles is a wonderful way to be “green”.

How I Would Use It: Frequently you will see these used as simple vases for long stem flowers. I like to use colored bottles as window sill decor. As the sun shines in it will reflect the lovely colors into your room.

1920’s Hanging Plant Stand with Pottery Pots

What I Like About It: Multi use hanging plant stand can easily be changed up and re-used according to the season or holiday.

How I Would Use It: The best use of this might just be on your kitchen wall to grow your various cooking herbs. But how fun would this be with multi-color silk flowers in the pots with battery operated tealights nestled inside to give off a soft glow in the evening.
