Our favorite finds from the internet this past week.

Dot (AtticAndBarnTreasures.com) – This week I wanted to share a few recipes – no, not the food kind. The make-your-own household cleaners kind of recipes. You have probably heard of a few of these and some may surprise you. I plan on giving more than a few of these a try this spring!

JayDee (ThirdShiftVintage.com) – I love plants! Both indoor and outdoor plants. I can’t seem to get enough of them. I love being surrounded by green plants throughout our home and enjoy spending time outside in our gardens. Even if you don’t have a “green thumb”, I found this article “How to Choose a Plant for Every Room in Your House” that I think you will enjoy!

Laurie (NextStageVintage.com) –  I’m visiting Indianapolis for the first time and of course I immediately thought of the Robert Indiana Love sculpture, a great piece of art from the 1970s that has become a pop culture icon.

Linda (SelectiveSalvage.com) – IKEA just released another impressive design ideas and surprisingly, it’s not new knock-down furniture.  “The Grow Room” is an easy-to-build sphere that when finished will house a set of gardens large enough to feed a neighborhood. The blueprints are free so I plan to look into it as a supplement to our local volunteer Food Bank.  One more way to get back to our roots which appeals to the vintage collector in me.

Mary Ellen (AuntHattiesAtticVintage.com) – This little girl on Wall Street drew a lot of attention this week! “Fearless Girl” sends bold message to Wall Street Titans

Tina(GirlPickers.com) –  I love animals of all kinds and this week I happened upon this video from the show Planet Earth II on the BBC America network that highlights 10 animals you won’t find in your backyard.  Have a look.

Pam (VintageRenude.com) – I found this awesome chart that shows the top 100 websites ranked by traffic in the United States. 100 Websites that rule the internet Which ones do you frequent most?
