Vintage Picks of the Week – Wonderful, Powerful, Exciting Vintage Red

Vintage Picks Of The Week

It’s time for our series, Vintage Picks of the Week! We scour the internet looking for just the right piece of vintage to add to our decor, and include ideas on how we think these pieces could be used.

The Picks this week are brought to you by Dot at Attic and Barn Treasures.

Felted Wool Wagon Wheel Quilt c. 1890

What I Like About It: This quilt is reminiscent of the peppermint candies we had at Christmas and brings back many a fond memory!

How I Would Use It: This lovely quilt would reside on the bed in our guest room. If you have a great room with a vaulted ceiling this would look stunning in a frame hung from the ceiling.

What I Like About It: Love the red color and the potential for re-purposing something just for him!

How I Would Use It: This would be an excellent choice for a catch all (his most precious new rock finds, coins, and pocket treasure) on a young man’s dresser or to display along with his collectible horses.

What I Like About It: It’s Red! And it’s oh so cool!

How I Would Use It: This one would probably be my number one pick of the week just based on style alone! Where to put it? Anywhere it can get the attention it so deserves! What a conversation piece!

  1. Excellent vintage picks, Dot! The quilt really does remind me of peppermint candies which were my Dad’s favorite, all year round. Thanks for the memory. 🙂
