One of the most time-honored and popular ideas around is going to the movies. But what about adding a vintage twist to that and watching a movie from the year you were born. For some of us that means movies from 1950’s, 60’s or 70’s. Here are a few classics to get you started:
Spend the day cooking or baking for the week ahead. Here are a few vintage recipes that work well for packing leftovers.
2016 marks 100 years of the National Park Service. Spend the day visiting one of the many parks near you and learn something new about your hometown.
Volunteer with a local non-profit. Every city and town has at least one non-profit agency that can use a hand. Spend the day giving your time to those in need. Find a local non-profit at Volunteer Match
So whether you celebrate Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza, something else or nothing at all we at Vintage Unscripted hope you have a wonderful day, whatever you do.
