It’s time for our new series, Vintage Picks of the Week! We scour the internet looking for just the right piece of vintage to add to our decor, and include ideas on how we think these pieces could be used.
The Picks this week are brought to you by Tina at GirlPickers.
Nut and Bolt Cabinet
What I Like About It: Are you kidding me! 98 drawers and the ones on top are pie shaped. All of the writing is original on it as well as the porcelain knobs. You must read the provenance on this piece.
How I Would Use It: I would absolutely have to find a way to fit this in my kitchen and use the drawers to store kitchen items and spices. It really would be useful in any room of the house though. I just want it!
Wood Spice Box
What I Like About It: I am drawn to old wood drawers and these are painted with folk art.
How I Would Use It: I would use this in the kitchen either mounted to the wall or atop a buffet for storage.
What I Like About It: I would call this the holy grail of wood cabinets! It’s all original and look at all those drawers. The other cool thing is this is four sections and can be stacked any way you would like. Amazing piece!
How I Would Use It: This would have to be in my main living area so I could look at it every day but with all those drawers, it would be wonderful for a home office.
So there you have it! My three favorite vintage picks for the week! Make sure to check back to see what items are on the Pick List next week!
