Vintage Knitting Pattern – a hat for her

bernat gift baz 1

When you’re knitting in August, you want nice small projects so that you don’t have to knit your way through the hot, humid dog days with a bulky woolen sweater or thick cozy afghan in progress draped across your lap. The Bernat Gift Bazaar Handicrafter No. 54 booklet from 1956 has lots of lovely small projects, including this adorable Cuddle Cap. A retro winter hat for women, it knits up on US 10 1/2 needles, meaning it’s zippy quick. Knit Cuddle Caps as a holiday girlfriend gifts for all of your friends so you can warm their ears and their hearts when the cold winter wind blows.
